Recognition of Service Award
About the program
The only one of its kind in Africa, the Recognition of Service Award is an ongoing initiative that recognises, honours and celebrates Afican nurses’ and Midwives contribution, dedication, loyalty and longevity of service to the nursing and midwifery profession and wider community. Our Service recognition will be awarded to African Nurses and Midwives who have achieved 40 years of service or more upon their retirement.
Eligibility
Upon retirement, all African nurses who have achieved 40 years of service or more can nominate themselves for this program. You can also nominate a hard-working nurse colleague for this program to acknowledge their lifetime achievements.
Nomination process
Nominees can self-nominate or be nominated by either their peers or health consumers. It is important to provide correct details so that a Recognition of Service certificate can be generated and posted to their preferred address.
